This fire is ignited by a new generation Media Company Bangla Talkies. Bangla Talkies is into television, feature films, ad- film and documentaries from 2005. Moving away from age old ideas it has brought in an entirely fresh approach to the concept of production.

Films by Bangla Talkies include the coming of age hilarious sex comedy "Aamra" (Us) directed by debutant Director Mainak Bhaumik, who has been Editor to acclaimed director Anjan Dutta in films like "Chalo, Let's Go", "The Bong Connection", etc.

"Bish" (Venom), a rather strong, bold and hard hitting film by acclaimed Documentary film maker and music video Director Q

"Clerk" starring Superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee and directed by National Award winning film maker Subhadro Choudhury.

And many other productions, including "Raat 12: 05"( 12: 05 at Night), "Bor Ashbe Ekhuni"(Here Comes the Groom).

This Venture is initiated by owner of Bangla Talkies, Nitesh Sharma. It his his brainchild to give the film world talents that might get lost in hustle & bustle.
